Create sustainably
Join us at IKEA Museum during Älmhult Municipality’s Sustainability Week and set your creativity free. Together we will waken our inner entrepreneurs and give reused materials a new life at VERKSTAN between 13:00 and 16:00. We will be making new things from materials that are or can be reused, such as cardboard boxes, toilet rolls, egg boxes, fabrics, metal and scrap wood.
Our focus will be on the IKEA sustainable business model, which shows how IKEA is working together for a sustainable future and a better everyday life for the many people.
There will be an opportunity to look at concrete examples of products developed from waste and recycled materials. Together we will learn more about how we can all help to make the world more sustainable.
* VERKSTAN will be staffed by museum personnel. Under-13s must be accompanied by an adult.
