Animation workshop with Dancinganimation

Learn the basics of animation and make creative film with Mia and Cecilia from Dancinganimation. The workshop is part of the Sustain Able Voices exhibition and is included in museum admission.

Open for play and crafting the whole break.
Tuesday–Thursday at 10:00–14:00 you can also try fabric printing with us. Bring your own T-shirt. Our staff will be available for help and extra inspiration.

Every Saturday and Sunday 11:30 and 14:30. In Swedish.

Join our inspiring guide for an open guided tour through The Story of IKEA. For the benefit of our visitors, we are limiting the number of people in our guided tours to a maximum of 15. If a tour fills up, other groups are available. Please register your interest in reception. We look forward to seeing you!

The tour takes one hour and is included in admission.

Creative workshop
Our Creative Workshop normal hours is Saturday and Sunday 10:00–18:00.

Let your imagination and creativity run riot in our creative workshop. Everyone is welcome, whatever your age.

Travel back in time to the catalogue cover of 1973! You can print the photo and keep it as a souvenir.

Music quiz in KÖKET restaurant

Äfterwork in KÖKET restaurant also features a fun music quiz. Put a team together and join the competition! There’s something for everyone with questions on music old and new.

Pecha Kucha night

New date TBA

Pecha Kucha is a Japanese short-presentation format involving 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each. In association with Svensk Form Småland, IKEA Museum is offering an inspiring Pecha Kucha night! The speaker list will be announced at a later date.

Free admission. The price for the Japanese-themed buffet (advance booking only) is 299 SEK. The buffet opens at 18:00, the first Pecha Kucha starts at 19:20. Pecha Kucha night is part of the Sustain Able Voices exhibition.
