Hanna Hellquist’s Christmas Table

On December 4th, we invite you to a magical evening at IKEA Museum! Between 17:00 and 20:00, the museum shop transforms into a festive haven where you can savor mulled wine and snacks, shop for Christmas gifts with 15% off the entire assortment*, and experience the highlight of the evening: Hanna Hellquist’s Christmas Table.

Hanna Hellquist’s Unique IKEA Christmas Table
Renowned journalist and presenter Hanna Hellquist will join us to create her own special Christmas table in the entrance. She will start setting up at 17:00, and by 20:00, her masterpiece will be complete. Hanna shares her thoughts on her passion for table setting:
“It’s an honor to set the Christmas table for IKEA; it’s the most important table of all! My interest in table setting was born during Christmas 2021, and it has only grown stronger with each passing year. But I’ll try to stay within the edges of the table this time.”

We are collecting Christmas gifts
11 November–11 December 2024
Together with Community involvement Älmhult*, IKEA Museum is collecting Christmas presents to help more children have a happy Christmas. Please join in! Between 11 November and 11 December we’re collecting presents for children aged 0–12. Please wrap your gift, label it with what’s inside, and place it in one of the collection boxes labelled with age ranges inside the museum entrance. It will then be given to a suitable child.

Inspirational tour
Every Saturday and Sunday
An introduction that helps you get the most out of your visit to IKEA Museum. One of our guides will give you a 45-minute tour of the museum and everything that’s on right now. After that, you can wander around and discover the exhibitions, interactive experiences and museum shop on your own. No pre-registration is required but places are limited. Please note that these tours are not intended for group visits.
