Explore design, sustainable development and creative thinking in the Designer for a Day workshop. Students will have the opportunity to take on a real design challenge and to practically create design elements for the artwork Man Made Donkey, a readily adaptable bicycle cargo trailer for urban environments, designed by Måns Martinsson from Young Swedish Design 2025.
Together with our workshop leaders, students will be exploring how to work with ideation, prototyping and sustainability in design – focusing on problem solving, creativity and the future society. We use the IKEA principles of Democratic Design where Form, Function, Quality, Sustainability and Low Price are in focus.
