Wild weather? Let your creativity run wild instead! At IKEA Museum, creativity will be flowing throughout the autumn break. We’ll be busy in our creative workshop throughout the school holiday. Craft as much as you like in our creative workshop from 28 October to 1 November between 11:00 and 16:00.

Patchwork Shop – a creative workshop

Try your hand at making a patchwork quilt with fabrics from the iconic 10-gruppen – Ten Swedish Designers. Working with Ida Pettersson Preutz, an artist and designer who has many years’ experience, you will be able to create your own unique pattern, using the patchwork technique to explore imaginative ways of using colours and composition.
Magical Patterns – a Creative Workshop

Discover your creative side and design your own unique patterns in the Magical Patterns workshop. Together with Lena Håkanson, an experienced designer and university lecturer in design, this is an opportunity to learn the basics of pattern design and printing.

Every Saturday and Sunday
An introduction that helps you get the most out of your visit to IKEA Museum. One of our guides will give you a 45-minute tour of the museum and everything that’s on right now. After that, you can wander around and discover the exhibitions, interactive experiences and museum shop on your own. No pre-registration is required but places are limited. Please note that these tours are not intended for group visits.
