Everything can become a pattern!

Welcome to a magical evening at the IKEA Museum on January 28 at 6:00 PM, where we will meet the acclaimed author, designer, and illustrator Lotta Kühlhorn. Over the years, Lotta has created numerous patterns for IKEA, and now she invites us to explore the fascinating world of patterns together.

How does a pattern come to life?

Lotta shares her creative process, from idea and sketch to the final print, and reveals the stories behind some of her most beloved patterns. Additionally, she offers insight into the simple yet fascinating mathematics behind patterns that can repeat endlessly.

After the lecture, there will be time for mingling and book signing. In our museum shop, you can find some of Lotta’s books, including her latest, *Patterns: A Book About Repeating Color and Form.* The lecture will be held in Swedish.
